Welcome to ActuarialPrep. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ActuarialPrep website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date.

3. Use of the Service

ActuarialPrep provides practice questions, study materials, and analytical tools intended to help you prepare for actuarial examinations administered by third parties such as the Society of Actuaries (SOA). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the SOA or any other examination body. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use.

4. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Service, including questions, explanations, study guides, software, and trademarks, is owned by ActuarialPrep or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from any portion of the Service without our prior written consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share account credentials or allow others to use your account.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data from the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any other person.
  • Upload or transmit any malicious code or content that violates applicable law.
  • Distribute copies of practice questions, explanations, or other proprietary material outside the Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Pricing and renewal terms are presented at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically and may be cancelled at any time through your account settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that practice content reflects the current syllabus of any examination body. Your performance on third-party exams depends on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ActuarialPrep and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner we reasonably believe is harmful to us or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ActuarialPrep is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
